Dr Forbes McGain is a senior anaesthetics and intensive care registrar at Royal Melbourne Hospital and Honorary Fellow at the Australian Venom Research Unit. Dr McGain has worked in several Pacific islands and has recently been studying venomous bite and sting mortality in Australia and PNG.
