Associate Professor Sean P. Bush is an Envenomation Consultant and Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Loma Linda University Medical Center, California, USA. He has a special interest in envenomations, particularly in first aid treatment for venomous bites and sting. He has authored numerous publications in this area, including work on the "Extractor" suction device in use for the treatment of snakebite in the United States. He visited the Australian Venom Research Unit in 2000.
