Department of Pharmacology

The Department of Pharmacology at The University of Melbourne is made up of 15 research laboratories / units, including the Australian Venom Research Unit. The Department Head is Associate Professor Owen Llewellyn Woodman. Research is one of the key roles of this Department with an average of 55 publications produced each year. Staff also share their pharmacology knowledge with students from the Faculties of Science, Medicine Dentistry & Health Sciences, and Veterinary Science.
