Stephen's banded snakes

Stephen’s banded snake is found only (in the wild) in a small area of the coast of southern Queensland and northern New South Wales. It is usually light brown or yellow in colour and has distinct dark bands along the body and dark spots on the head. However, some may have longitudinal bands or no bands at all. Their average length is approximately 0.6m with a maximum of 1.0m. The young are born alive.
