Brown snakes
Brown snakes
Brown snakes include the common or Eastern brown snake (Pseudonaja textilis), the dugite (P. affinis) and the gwardar (P. nuchalis). They are found throughout mainland Australia, and are now responsible for the majority of snakebite deaths in this country.
