Student Projects

Since the very first year of its existence, the AVRU has had students involved in research projects. Actually the first AVRU postgraduate student, a University of Melbourne Department of Pharmacology Honours student, Mr Peter Hobbins, enjoyed the experience so much that he has rejoined the Unit more than a decade later, this time as a Masters student. As well as hosting Honours, Masters and PhD students, the AVRU has PNG, European and American students and Fulbright Scholars as well as postgraduate trainees in Emergency Medicine. For further information see the 'About Us' section of the website for students, staff and fellows. The latter include both Australian and US doctors involved in clinically orientated research.
