| AVRU Director, Dr Ken Winkel, presented a workshop on snakebite management at Sale Hospital in Regional Victoria, as part of the Victorian Medical Postgraduate Foundation 2006 Country Education program. The AVRU involvement in the VMPF program, led by the AVRU Deputy Director (Clinical) and Emergency Physician, Dr Bill Nimorakiotakis, provides a long-term committment to toxinology education for rural health practitioners.
