Five-Ringed Brown Snake (Pseudonaja modesta)

This snake is relatively small and does not reach lengths over 60cm. The five-ringed brown snake is generally not as aggressive as other brown snakes, being less inclined to inflict a bite. The one recorded case of envenomation resulted in relatively mild clinical effects.
