| Abstract | Collection from Omati, Gulf District and Aramia River, Western District; Micropechis ikaheka fasciatus (the small-eyed snake), Ultrocalamus preussi preussi and Toxicocalamus stanlevanus found only in rain forest; western races of taipan and Papuan black snake not found in rain forest - no different from eastern members of the species - probably linked by populations in hills behind Gulf of Papua; banded sea snake common; pythons. |
