A more complete account of the experiments responsible for the results published in North and Doery (1958a, 1958b); the protective effect of the haemolysin-rich fraction of tiger snake venom and of the venoms of the red-bellied black snake, mulga snake and bee against the action of staphylococcal toxin in mice; the active principle in the venoms is enhanced by toxoiding with formalin.
