Abstract

Experiments with cobra antivenenes produced in rabbits and a horse; attempt to immunize a cat with increasing does of venom given orally; evidence of some immunity to injected venom after attempted oral immunization; kittens born to immunized cat challenged with venom; experiments with (red-bellied) black snake venom in rabbits, serum from this snake when mixed in vitro with the venom seemed to neutralize the toxic action of the venom.
