| Abstract | Tiger snake, (eastern) brown snake, taipan and death adder venoms do not act on factor X or directly on thrombin; tiger snake and death adder venoms are prothrombin activators but require the presence of factor V; taipan and (eastern) brown snake venoms are complete prothrombin activators, clotting factor V deficient plasma. |
