Venomous Bites and Stings

Australia is inhabited by many venomous creatures. Many live on the land and include snakes (8 of the world’s 10 deadliest land snakes), spiders and insects. However Australia’s oceans are also home to many venomous creatures including jellyfish, stinging fish and sea snakes. Below is a list of those creatures whose venom is known to harm man and animals.
