Zeenat Patrawala

MBA Student

Zeenat, also known simply as Z, is a current MBA candidate at Melbourne Business School. She comes to Melbourne with a B.S. in Biological Science with concentration genetics from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York (2004). In her undergraduate years, she was actively involved in biological research projects on campus, and was awarded the Robert S. Morely grant to pursue her honors thesis work in bioluminescent ostracods under Dr. Jim Morin. She has one publication in the Ivy Journal of Ethics and a second under preparation for publication in Oecologia.

Zeenat comes to us with a wide range of experience in academia, biotech and phama industries in multiple functions, including R&D and sales. Her last employment was with the Thermo Fisher as a Research Sales Representative for the Central California region. She developed key business skills, including both quantitative and qualitative, leadership, and communication.

Although her interaction with venomous organism is limited to chasing garden snakes in her childhood, she is excited to be part of AVRU and contribute to its business initiatives.
