Dr Roger Lowe

Deputy Director - Research

Roger has a background of research in zoology where he has had a continuing involvement in the study of arthropods - particularly bees, ants, wasps and spiders. His main focus has always been evolutionary ecology, and much of his interest in venomous creatures focuses on that aspect of their biology.

In addition, he works in the public health area of venom research, carrying out epidemiological studies of venom-related fatalities and lecturing on envenomation and first aid.
